George was one of the early participants in the Calvert surname project at Family Tree DNA. Throughout the life of the project he was interested in the discoveries of the project as well as the DNA project. Unfortunately, it was just after George died this past summer that a new participants DNA matched that of George Calvert. Please see the file on
Asa Calvert, ancestor of William “Waddy” Colvert. I believe these family lines are related to William Calvert born 1757 who married Elizabeth Nodding. See this latter
